About the Role:

As a Business Analyst at Paytm Insurance, you will play a pivotal role in extracting insights from data to drive business decisions. You’ll manage data systems, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate analytical findings into actionable strategies that directly impact business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract and process data from primary and secondary sources using automated tools.
• Clean corrupted or inconsistent data and resolve coding or schema issues.
• Develop and maintain organized databases and reporting systems.
• Prepare management reports highlighting trends, patterns, and performance predictions.
• Generate comprehensive analysis reports to guide strategic decision-making.
• Identify and revise reporting requirements for business units and data warehouses.
• Design and automate performance dashboards for business tracking.
• Deliver actionable business insights through advanced data manipulation and analytical techniques.

Key Technical Skills:

SQL, Hive, Python, R, MS Excel (Advanced), Data Visualization, Reporting, Data Cleaning, Business Metrics, Web Analytics

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in business analysis, analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent command of advanced SQL, MS Excel, and at least one programming language (Python or R).
• Ability to work with large-scale data sets and data warehouses.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
• Experience with analytics tools and web-based data platforms preferred.
• Outstanding organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; candidates from top institutes will be preferred.
